A freight depot was built in 1873 (75 X 200) cost $1,200.00. It was time in 1875 for the first passenger depot to be built. This was not the historical depot that still exists today. This was a two-story frame building containing five upstairs offices and two waiting rooms on the main floor and cost $2,000.00. |
